...at least there were fewer there to see me drop one of the attendance prizes. The smaller turnout also had another side-effect, the winner for the virtual show voting and the people's choice voting was the same car! I should've seen it coming, but the prospect had never occurred to me. As the deadline loomed closer I was faced with a decision. As many of you may know I'm fairly stubborn where issues of right and wrong are concerned. I guess the conventional car show wisdom is that for the benefit of the people paying to enter their vehicles you shouldn't give two awards to the same entry. In my mind since I hadn't said otherwise, I had no choice but to do so. The best part was that Mike Haupt's T/A was deserving, and so he took home two beautiful trophies. And while I had braced myself for a negative reaction, everyone I heard from seemed to agree that it was the right thing to do.
