Why in the world we didn't make it to the water park is beyond me, regardless I have to hand it to the planners for having it right across the street. Amy and the younger two children set off for her parents' house, while Justin and I made our way back to the host hotel to pick up the van and run errands. Part of the reason it turned out to be a blessing to have the convention in town was that I could keep an eye on the con(de)struction of our new home. In the first three days of the week I was able to correct plumbing, venting, electrical, and framing errors before they became compounded, or, worse, irreversible. I can't imagine being a thousand miles away blissfully ignorant of the disaster awaiting our return.
The perfect accessory for any convention
