1/6/99 Update: According to a local dealer 30th anniversary cars are being built as I type. The cars are being preferenced over standard WS6 production, orders for which are basically on hold until March.
Pontiac has announced the availablity of the 30th anniversary Trans Am! The production code for 1999's special edition is Z4C. 1,500 cars will be produced; 1,000 coupes and 500 convertibles. Due to the limited production all orders will have to be approved at Pontiac's central office, and dealers will receive the cars based on their Firebird sales figures.
Specific to the 30th anniversary car:
Arctic White exterior color
Medium Navy Blue convertible top (convertible model only)
Blue 2-color striping on hood, decklid, and rear decklid spoiler
"30th Anniversary" badging on doors
Arctic White embossed bird and lettering on rear applique
