Removing / Reinstalling Ram Air Manifolds

Been a long time, but from what I remember, I think I am either going to have to jack up engine or at least tilt engine each way in order to remove my Ram Air exhaust manifolds..... I want to get them sent out to be coated, tired of the rusty look.... Can anyone confirm my failing memory?

Can you drop them out from below? On my 79 Trans Am and on my son's 69 Bird we are able to remove the 4-tube headers by jacking up the front end and then sliding them down and back. Wouldn't think the space is tighter on your GTO than on the Firebird or that the Ram Air manifolds are bulkier.

If they are from Ram Air Restorations I just sprayed mine with ceramic based paint.

Not from RAR, bought these a long time ago, I think from AMES. Pretty sure I am going to at least lift and tilt the motor slightly to each side to get them out..... Might just try and wire brush them and paint them in the car.... see how motivated I am this winter
