Toyota to invest in batteries.

Like Ford, Toyota is set to invest 1.29 BILLION dollars into electric auto batteries. But what will charge these batteries? Leftists are against coal fired plants, against nuclear plants.....but they support taking farm land and covering it with solar panels. The future won't have food, but you'll have electricity.

as a conservative, you should be concerned about human actions ruining our jet stream and consequently our rain patterns that allowed crop yield. Finally, the midwest had a wide drought this year. Crops are down in yield. That your direct consequence of too much human caused deforestation of the equatorial band around the planet. We have boreal forests in northern US and Southern Canada, B.C., Yukon territories, also getting too much deforestation activity. Some of this is grizzly habitat and sasquatch, fact. It should not be messed with, period. There is a direct line between taking too much agriculture water from teh Pacific Northwest drainage basins and teh die off of vegetation. Conservationists have established the relatioship between the bear, the pine tree, and the Salmon reaching spawning grounds. This is a critical life cycle and it directly impacts humans as well. We have to wake up to what the native indigenous tribes have long known and practiced. Or we see our total demise as a species. It is on a fast track now. Debating is not helpful.

article states most to come from renewable. We'll see. Here is my bigger Q. Without perochemical industry, where is our plasic going to come from? Soybeans? Who is thinking out how this economy churns. There is almost nothing you touch, drive, eat with, or consume that isn't heavily relying on petrochemicals. No EPA engineer is going to wrap their pea sized brain around that concept.

As a conservative, I try to use facts, science, and logic. You claim humans are changing the temperature of the earth. Changing from what temperature? (What is "normal"?) There are SO MANY simple questions you can't answer....lest you reveal the UNscientific, illogical LIES that you base your CRAZY claims on.

Just the facts Ma'am. Just the facts.

A very interesting site. Takes some analysis to comprehend. Ton of accumulated data. Antarctica is our best benchmark for change bec as use of the retained CO2 in deep core samples dating back hundreds of million years. Greenland has a good a mount of a corner data as well, more specific ally about ice sheet loss. We have other locations to study, plains of Patagonia in highlands of Chile. China relieving glacier for all its fresh water, and that is rapidly coming up an end. Netherlands, Norway shipping lanes now becoming accessible 12 months. This has created a real polar rush to conquest gas and oil rights, and has pitted Canada against Russia in the mineral rights race. This has taken on heated aspects, and our US energy slije in natural gas is largely a manipulation of the gas markets by Russia who constricted natural gas in pipeline to 49% of normal. They demand a green light on a pipeline via Poland and UK to reach Germany and France. The whole ruse is about circumventing Ukraine pipeline where profits get siphoned away by a greedy anti Russia government. The Crimea takeover was a prelude. Only NATO and the West Europe contingent are keeping Russia from seizing all of Ukraine and totally dominating gas industry at the globes peril. When green political holdouts give Russia the permits to run gas past their lands, this staged artificial shortage will suddenly cease. Then Western markets will ease up.

One fact Sir, what was the "normal" temperature of the earth? If there is climate change, there MUST be a defined starting point. What is that temperature in F, C, or K?

Should Iowa be covered in ice, tropical rainforests, or something in between? Who decides where he thermostat gets set? Kamala and Brandon, AKA dumb and dumber?

The extremes are your worry. Heat wave this summer killed a lot of wildlife, and humans who could not escape it. What does that do to the crustaceans, the mollusks, the fish? Whales cannot survive 100 degree waters. Fish died en masses off Pacific Northwest. In midwest, it was hot, but not like the West. Our waters have turned into green oxygen depleted algae ponds with E cold counts in the danger zone. Can you eat or get safe water if algae ruins our fresh water?

I have a hybrid that put up the death triangle. The idea that repair work just ceases is not entirely correct. We previously had a circulation pump for inverter issue. Each service required a new learning curve. This current one may get deep into cost. I will have to trade off salvage used repair parts versus end of life decision. I expect the inverter and wiring were fried. Further, as we embrace diesel electric in bigger vehicles demanding duty cycle, the repair industry will have good opportunities. The grid xsokar continued producing in the Texas artic freeze that shut down pipelines and refineries cold. But electric bus fleets did not. You need capacity in storage. That takes infrastructure spending.

Average incremental temp change is just a small photo of a bigger image. You need capability to vopexwith heat and cold extremes. Few are now contesting the concept of global climate change. Now the arguing or evasiveness has moved over to the government spending decisions.

Hey, President Biden, from what temperature is the climate changing????? To have a change, the original temperature MUST be known. KNOWN. You claim there is change. So what's the baseline?? You don't know, do you. Logic > fear.

Every station is covering the intensity of these cyclone bomb storms in Pacific Northwest. They are record breaking. The science has documented that water is heat sinking the majority of average temp rise caused by global warming, specifically the CO2 buildup in the atmosphere which takes a very very long time to dissipate., so sea water is climbing 15 degrees, or 25 degrees while land is climbing 8 degrees. This disparate energy buildup is causing intensity, duration, and greater frequency of cataclysmic weather events. This is not new news, you just have to read the releases. Second consequence is far higher volume in the rain events due to atmosphere chemistry. Your 13" rains, even 28" rains will become more commonly reported. Those amounts flood flat lands, entirely.
