So the Federal "Energy Dept." is backing a 2.8 BILLION dollar "loan" to a certain "General Motors" which the Federal government bailed out back in about 2009. How many Founding Fathers would agree with any of that? Answer: ZERO! What Communists we've become! Rescue the USofA. Vote for folks that can read, understand, and follow the Constitution. Republicans aren't very good, and Democrats are terrible. What to do??? Urgh...

Notes on the subject: There is no authority for an "Energy Dept" in the Constitution. Even if there were, why would it loan money to a business? Why would the business have been "bailed out" to begin with?

Why aren't the "green" investment funds doing the raising of capitol? Bill Clinton sold off licenses of federal regulated airwaves, private equity forms solicited average Americans for these "auctions" and a whole investment class got wealthy. The govt sold something only God can claim, and still out 5 trillion surplus on the books. Then Bush 2 blew that and twice as much more on his unfunded pipeline projects disguised as wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. Republicans are THE WORST at money management. No discipline, no ethics, no principles. We now have 32 trillion because no Republican would ever say no to defense budgets.

Sir, Republican AND Democrats are TERRIBLE. I'm pointing out ILLEGAL actions (UNconstitutiional). I know that "Democrats" are leading the whacko environmental stuff right now. I know that the "welfare" systems were created and expanded by "Democrats", and the "debt clock" shows the trillions that accounts for. So, "Democrats" are at least part of the problem. (I put " " around Democrats because many of their policies are socialistic and communistic.)

Sir, repeat truth, not bias. Do you see bias in the "news"? Remember when Dan Quayle spelled "POTATOE"? What about "VP" Harris at an event that can't correctly spell the name of the state???? Pause the video at 21:53. It's embarrassing enough to listen to the racist things said by the speakers, but the backdrop is icing on the cake of stupidity.

Sir, I don't think about Trump NEARLY as often as you. Why does he live in your mind? There are worse Presidents to think of, like the one with dementia currently spouting lies. Another problem is bias, I just heard about 5 minutes of bias on NPR regarding "certain populations", "groups", "locations" that have high rates of monkey pox. Then when the speaker finally said a location (San Fransisco) and finally said "men who have sex with men" she had to give about 5 disclaimers regarding that "group". Why the bias? Why not say "gays are spreading monkey pox and MUCH higher rates"? BIAS, Firstlast. From NPR, the source of YOUR information (so you've claimed).

If Feds back the investment for 4 battery plants, do we not all win? Tesla has a US source, for example, we don't have the Russian henchman ffing up the world with oil wars, causing millions to die from starvation. We don't have the flood of China batteries in our cars tanking our future as a global producer? We don't have the pressure to go to war with China over Taiwan. You could quantify just that in debt coat and per tax payer burden. I'd say 15 trillion would be a start if we wanted global wars going on.

Then there is the nightmare in recruiting. I had a customer in my shop, Army recruiter. He is offering 60k signing bonus. Pickings worth taking are few and far.

Sir, you asked "If Feds back the investment for 4 battery plants, do we not all win? " Well, our Constitution would be violated for that to happen. Communism is an "-ism" what promises that "all will win". I claim that our BLOATED government has created many of the problems that we need to fix. Normal "free market" solutions to normal demands results in the best society. Fake demands and forced solutions are what drives much of our society.

Want some examples of STUPID spending from my locale? In Paducah there is an airport with a couple flights out to Chicago per day. Very few passengers per flight, BUT the flight is subsidized and WE THE TAXPAYER fund the empty seats. Now the airport is getting a NEW TERMINAL at a price of about $40,000,000. It's all taxpayer funded. A new terminal for a few hundred people per year. It's retarded.

And the option? Louisville is over 2 hours right? Fort Camobell about 1.25 hr. And yiu have a lot of seniors in your area to frequent Kebtucky Lakes. If I had bought a 2nd place for my retirement, maybe I would be counting on that regional carrier. Lets look at the biggest subsidy of them all. Then you can bitch and moan about federal dollars. Anerica is a export nation of grain. We put our deficit in sone degree of check because we export so darn much. In terms of GNP, food industry is right at the very top, most definitely top 5. Do you think a barge liberal pays even a penny to run the Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, or Mississippi? Not a damn penny. Billions, more like 2 to 3 trillion are required to upgrade the ancient locks that cannot handle 18 barges. They must ne split in two halves, always a cause of serious runaways, especially during monsoon and hurricane seasons. Railroads also get sonecsuppirt, but I don't call how much. BNSF is by a mile the best railroad in the nation. But ever since Warren Buffet bought it and began squeezing the life blood out of a hugely profitable organization, it has taken quite a slide. Now, just the way a hostile investor fucks up a Sears/Kmart, or today's big story, Kohls, Buffet is going for more greed trying to get federal approval to eliminate the 2nd man on a train. That crash near St Louis was due to the slow upgrade of a very long list of high incident crossings. There is NO PRICE you xsn place on safety when it comes to a massive train, barge or jet in a crowded transport system. You very much require federal refukation, and federal upgrades of these airports. I bet you a steak dinner the disasters in Je tucjy are driving the need for runway upgrades. C130s need some room despite their huge lift capacity. Wgmhen a tornado or massive series of rain come, (not if, when) federal response needs the infrastructure. Also, as much as I dislike Republican leadership and their tight fisted approach, your Southern states below the rust belt, are getting the lions share of industry. I hate that, we have far better roads, much higher educated populace, and quality of kids is far better in the upper midwest. We have a rural work ethic, somewhat that stems from our small towns and farm life. But,like all states, good workers now are very hard to find.

My town has 1 regional carrier, a twin engine prop planr that onky holds zbiut 12 passenger. We are the hub town, therefore onkynonecwith a federal standards 24 hour airport. You can land a 747 here. We have political appearances, some fly in. We have be of two armories that produce heavy munitions. Those get high placed visits. I have figured out I can fly from my town cheaper than any other town by taking that regional feeder carrier to St Louis, then connect most anywhere. I get cross country travel done under $250 plus about $60 for the short hop to Chicago or St Louis. Try doing that on Amtrak or Greyhound, and about 2 to 3 x the travel duration, even with layovers and 2 to 3 hub transfers. I dare say, you have similar possibilities to reach Miami, or Dallas Fort Worth and connect.

Sir, I'm saying it's a WAIST of tax dollars to build an empty terminal and fly empty airplanes. You counter with "it's cheaper than Amtrak". AMTRAK is actually government owned! Is that comparing socialism to communism, either of which are not an "enumerated power" of Congress?
