I am listening to farm radio and they are discussing auction numbers. I've been watching this local company just kill it on auction prices Ag equipment, and some construction here and there. Tried to buy a dozer couple months back, it went double historic values. The hours were about 3.5 times a worn out machine, so you know it needed a lot of money in years to follow. Then the radio auction results are talking about this 59 chevy going stupid high. I finally checked in after the sale. They have some very solid numbers across the board for a challenged economy, and it amazes me how this farm buyer crowd come up with way too much money on these auctions. The economy is not even. Midwest seems cash heavy. Coasts have some problems. And all this stuff about oil, it's not well shaped in terms of accuracy. Russia and Saudi Arabia fixed oil markets months back while Trump in his final 6 months, to drive out the fracking oil. They are getting their way, and we are countering with some diversification into petroleum chemicals industry. At least, this beacon of the economy is looking pretty good. The 79 Bandit car was for sale a couple miles from me summer last year maybe? I shopped it, a steal for the miles and condition. Too bad, I have one, just not anywhere near this candidate.

I saw an advertisement and checked out the website. Read it's 10 questions with President Biden in mind. Recall the many times he has misplaced his mask. The many times he has rambled on, eventually dropping the subject with words like "oh, never mind". The many times he has messed up numbers, calling millions trillions, or visa-versa. The times he's snapped at people and said things like "dog faced pony soldier", "look, fat", or "you're full of ___" . He stumbled 3 times on ONE trip up the stares. He needs help, and those around him are abusing him. Do you still claim Biden is "rational" ??

you have a lot of time on your hands. I see that he is listening and surrounding himself with some serious well qualified experts. There is a wise saying, that if you are the smartest person in the room, and don't need to listen to anyone, soon, noone will listen to you. I think Trump painted himself into a corner doing that. Had he passed a infrastructure bill, and just actually listened to the experts, this conversation could and probably should have gone a different direction. But now we have Biden. I think he can accomplish good, even if you don't. Time will tell. His staff are running despite the hurdles and lost 6 weeks of transition. The actions are showing that professional and long experience in actually effecting policy instead of just showboating. I don't see Biden in all the actions happening. He may have a hand, and a guiding direction, but I see a lot more depth here than meets the eye. That is what we expect from our best in civil service, if they aren't squeezed out. They are really the core of our government.

Advanced onset dementia has sundowning. I have pre-dementia symtoms, but I am a decade or two early for it. My mother had dementia, died after a year or two of care. My mother in law has dementia, has been losing her recall for a few years. Now starting to wonder where she is, not recognizing her own house of her entire adulthood. I told my wife, we are doing Easter, you don't take that kind of shared time for granted anymore. If Joe has challenges, and don't we all, he will still have very functional hours of every day. Ronald Reagan was decidedly incapacitated, and it really showed up after the attempted assassination. Doesn't mean he could not be capable of running military, making the big decision. Even if we had gotten to that point, I would have much confidence in the system. Cheney, not crazy about, very extreme righty, and prone to take on nasty opponents like Iran, but still we have maintained a very professional chain of command up to Trump. He pretty much threw dynamite on all of the procedures and protocols. And yet, despite his huge bluster, he didn't effect a major military onslaught, and he could have well been justified to do it.

Well, the obvious bias in the media accentuated Trump's errors, and oft neglected his successes. And now the opposite with Biden, who has rigged "press conferences" and teleprompter answers that he struggles to read that the press doesn't seem to notice. The press would lambast Trump for that activity. Do you see the double standard??

It doesn't take me much time to find things that can prove my point. Like bias. You need to understand what we (WE Americans) are up against. See this vid. Trump, I know you will agree,is the biggest risk taker Anerica has ever known. How do you accept his, largess thst cost Anerica 5 trillion in new debt in 1 year, yet destroyed a good 20 to 30% of all small businesses, because it failed to be the leader in a war against a virus. These smal busiess owners get shouldered with the tax breaks cost. That includes me who thrived because of social stress and my industry provides relief from stress, for the remainder of my days in this life. I pay the big property tax burden already, which affords roads, sewer rebuilding here to comply with new EPA srwer separation mandates, and all the municipal burdens of a city. The middle class pay wholly the tax break fir the rich which Trump rewarded by cutting them from 39.6 % down to 25%. This article says corporations only pay 11%, half of what they should be. I don't think even a 15,000 income poverty level person gets off that low. I don't think you have very good analytical skills to see Biden as evil, but your dumbass con artist as God's gift to the uber wealthy Republican 1% party. Trump thought recitong 5 words back was an intelligence test. It was a barely there cognitive test, tp check his failing mental acuity. As I recall, he even fouled the order up, not very impressive for a self described "stable genius" (my ass). This is swinging political so I must depart again. I think your problem with bias is very much the same. There is,a need to sugar coat or dumb down content. Try watching world news for 5 min, and see how many minutes were pharmaceutical or auto insurance commercials. Fox capitalized on how an aanoying the public is with santitized news, and Toger,Aikes threw all journalistic profesdionality under the eheels,,threw sourballs at the camera, and they largely stuck. So distortion perduasion stories took the lions share ofxwhat passes for jounalism on the right. This had a dumbing down effect on all news IMO, which turned to tug of rope on factual content. Meabwhile,,the rver powerful Krug brothers affected, public news, abd they come across ridiculously politically correct, to the point they are interviewing chronic tabloid liars as if they did not have pants on fire. The real core problem is we, America, set no hard boundaries on corporate ownership. Thatshould be a constitytional priority, and now iur bedt multi nationals are European trash owned. We put out tgexstupid Ameticsn work me to death wotj ethic, abd they stral all the mobey out of the US. Murdoch is scum, and so are his kids. Don't believe me, go watch Hugh Grant explain it to you. And we let crap like the Sun of UK rag news fame run one of our top broadcast companies? And who niw owns NBC? See where this is going?

those words need to go away if this site is going to be a dialogue place. I am not a moderator, but can at least self moderate. You have to think how this crap reads to the casual visitor. It sounds like we're 85 years old and been living with each other for 84 of those years. LOL. When I visit my elder relatives, its a conflict zone. There is a price for living so long. Or maybe it's that no one can go away and socialize outside the home. That part is really screwing with people. My F.I.L. would be playing cards with his senior buddies every day if he didn't have to stay homebound to remain healthy. Can't believe this is a long ways from over, but we are still seeing loved ones get hospital commited around here. And business associates I know have had to close their business as they cope with heart effects of Covid. That isn't just a sneeze to get over, it usually takes them down permanently.

I think that is just another leading argument. Senator Warren has some indian blood, but big flippin deal. I probably have most of Europe in my blood, doesn't matter. I'm not a Nazi because of it. And I'm not a pacifist either. Nothing about heritage absolutely defines a person. But Trump, he doesn't fall far from the tree. Go read about his grandfather, then his family biography by his niece. Very informative about his feeling about Russia, Imperialism, Oligarchy, and discrimination against blacks, other sub-cultures. When he took US development dollars to make over the Post Office Building, he played his liar games, cheated US Unions which pretty much rule in New York State, and most of the North East, and brought in non union laborors from Poland to do all the demo work. In his hospitality jobs, he uses off book Guatemalans. ALl those actions define who he is and why he makes a practice of lying, mob tactics in all of his business practices. You will never get him signing anything, documenting anything, keeping a single piece of paper, even if legislative laws demand it for the Office of President protocols. Exec. branch is accountable to legislative branch. That is law. But in his office, every paper is shredded. Every order is passed to gophers, like his attorny buddy who is sitting in prison. The training for this MOB business practice came to him by a attorney for the mob. Trump, if not mob himself, is mob boss in his definition, practices, and deceit. You can never say any of that about a single Dem in government office, or any of the candidates who ran. So, there is a chasm between character and leadership. The deficit has truly cost this nation dearly in our world position. That is the price we now pay, can't be accepted or trusted, and we backstab our best allies. You don't get forgiven in this modern world. Your former allies have options, and you will pay dearly to get back into their good graces. If the U.S. loses the dollar as world currency, becasue of Trumps actions and trashing trade relations so severely, then we may all be screwed. Banks are now moving to accept e currency. It's a very bad sign.

CO2 data are measured scientically. We have NAOA who have done this as a mission purpose. We would not be able to forecast weather without these resources. They now document 420 ppm CO2 and right behind that is the Nitrous Oxide count, also highly elevated. That 420 is about 1.5 times our historic basis. We are well on the way to a 1000 year recovery. This isn't something that just dissipates. You don't just flip off your CO2 pollutant sources and undo the damage done. When your trees are dying off at a cataclysmis rate across the world, and that article highlights the multi country issue, to the farthest north, and the South, we have prpobably past a tippping point already. We probably passed the ability to undo the damage by about 2005, but our children will be struggling to manage heat, flood, storm and failed crops. How did one or two generations use most of the energy of the planet, and decimate the atmosphere for what may be thousands of years? And who is distorting? You say none of this truth? YOu who have dozens of severe storm coming at your all the time? Your gulf of mexico proximity should be a worry. couple things going on. As US covid numbers plunged in March '21, consumer demand became healthy. 2nd point, consumers never suffered a cash deficit as a rule during Covid calendar year one. So the pent up demand was just waiting on the retail re-opening. Shops such as this one in watersports, or bikes, or RV's or boats, all heavily rely on the international trade aspect to supply our U.S. makers/ builders, because there is literally no US fastener, fabric, foam, and many raw materials because of 3 decades of massive off shoring of whole industry segments. If you needed electronics, its far worse, because that gets into Taiwan, or S. Korea, or mainland China. Right now, the ports area cluster F. There aren't anywhere near enough drivers running the containers out to the 48 to get ports unclogged. I don't have the info just yet, but you add this tariff to the processing of containers, and things just got dragged out days, to weeks of delay. The ports can't just absorb weeks of delay, those containers need to keep moving. So our crap we need to keep up the GDP is stuck in a ship, or in a port, or on land at the port, lacking chasis that the semis pull those shipping containers on. Every one of those points is a massive mess. If you put a toll booth in DFW, or Chicago, guess what. The cities traffic flow comes to a dead halt, and now your passage around CHicago is a 3 or 4 hour ordeal. Imagine DFW if Bush 2 hadn't put in the massive toll system road network. There were 2 lanes around the north side just years back, as I pursued trips into Texas for my Pontiacs hord. When you cluster F the ports, you get the same result as the road snarls before transportation logistics experts designed solutions that work. All my orders now are on about 2 month delay waiting for Asian produced compoents to get past ports and to the US factories, say North Carolina, Tennessee, Washington state to think of three I am buying through with the supply chain issues at the moment. My other brands who source "sticks" (a raw component of a fiberglass or carbon fiber produced product) get all those "sticks" from Asia. That would affect virtually every fishing rod manufacturer as well I would guess. This USA market is a very global market. We thrive if we can get the trade. We die if we shut the gates on the trade.

there has been a surge in agriculture commodity prices unlike any run up I have seen. Unfortunately, I sold my grains at the low, but farmers who waited until this period where grains were not being shipped from Los Angeles to favor hurrying up empty containers to China for raw goods back orders, just saw a really huge windfall of profits. That also translates to the double digit run up you are seeing in the grocery stores on every product.
