My interest in GPs began with the purchase of one, Marimba Red, black interior and a
three speed column shift. This is the first '64 GP I owned and that is me, the proud owner, some 30 odd years ago. It was my first new car and followed a string of other cars since getting my license in the mid 50s.

I regretted the day I sold my first '64, so twenty years later, in 1983, I came across the one you see here and decided the time was now or never to have another one.

I put a lot of time and work into it, but regrettably, I only took one picture of it during it's renovation time. My son, Chuck, in the picture is now 19, so it has been a while.

The car is original inside and out except for paint, twelve years ago, and new carpets last year from Ames Performance. I frequent car shows and cruise nights in the Norfolk County area during the summer. If you know of any in the area let me know!
